Ferrari has pulled the covers off its 2026 F1 car, the SF-26, ahead of a shakedown at Fiorano

Ferrari has confirmed the name of its 2026 Formula 1 challenger ahead of a season in which the Scuderia must show improvement after a disappointing 2025. Lewis Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari created hype surrounding the team that proved impossible to match during 2025, as the SF-25’s pace rapidly fell away during the season.

The Ferrari F1 team will stick with its current naming convention by entering the SF-26 in the 2026 season. Ferrari announced on Friday its 2026 car, which had internally dubbed Project 678 during its conception, will be called the SF-26, following the same naming convention as its predecessors.
