SMRs Banned in Yorkville - Yorkville City Adminstrator Bart Olson touched on the fact that the City of Yorkville has banned small mobile nuclear reactors from being used in Yorkville by Data Centers. Olson gave a one hour presentation to the Plano School Board earlier this week. The presentation occured because several of the proposed data centers located in Yorkville will share tax dollars with plano school district because they fall within the school districts boundries.
